Department of Veteran’s Affairs awards Innovesia a contract to develop VETBIZ, the Veterans’ Online Business Registry.Herndon, VA, September 13, 2002 -- Innovesia was selected by Department of Veteran’s Affairs Center for Veterans’ Enterprise to develop the VA’s portal to the veterans’ business community. VETBIZ will provide the following capabilities: Enable veterans to electronically post information about their business enterprise to inform the government and corporate buyers about their capacity and capability to perform federal requirementsEnable buyers to quickly locate veterans in business to be placed in original source listsSupport the Department’s annual notification to veterans about how to obtain business and technical development assistance, and Satisfy the Department’s annual requirement to inform agencies of service-disabled veterans in business, the products and services that they provide, and appropriate contact information.
